Data Deletion Instructions

BHmetrics, operated by Choclement LLC (Delaware, USA), is a business-to-business analytics and automation platform for advertising operators. This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that BHmetrics holds about you. It is the canonical instructions URL referenced by advertising platforms (e.g., Meta's "User Data Deletion" requirement for OAuth-enabled apps).

1. If you are a BHmetrics customer (operator)

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my BHmetrics account" (or "Export my BHmetrics data" for an export instead of deletion). Include your brand name in the body.

  • We acknowledge receipt within ten (10) business days.
  • We verify your identity by matching your sending address to the account on file.
  • We complete deletion within thirty (30) days of verified receipt, except where applicable law requires longer retention (see §4 below).

Where in-product Export / Delete controls under Settings → Brand are available, you may use those instead. We are rolling these out and will note their availability here as they ship.

2. If you disconnected an ad platform (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Shopify)

When you revoke an OAuth grant from Settings → Connections, or from the connected platform's own "Apps and Permissions" page (for example, Meta's Business Integrations), BHmetrics:

  • Deletes the encrypted OAuth refresh-token references immediately, and
  • Stops ingesting any new data from that platform.

To also delete the historical data BHmetrics ingested from that platform, use the Export / Delete flow in §1 above, or email [email protected] and tell us which platform you want scoped deletion for (e.g., "delete all Meta data for brand X").

3. If you are an end consumer of a BHmetrics customer

BHmetrics is a business-to-business processor. If your data is in BHmetrics, it was uploaded to us by one of our customers (the brand whose ad you clicked or whose storefront you purchased from). That brand is the controller of your personal data, and your deletion request should go to them directly.

Please contact the brand directly using the contact details on their website or in their own privacy policy. We will assist the brand in fulfilling any verified deletion request as required by our DPA and applicable law.

If you cannot identify or reach the brand, email [email protected] with as much detail as you have (the brand name, the ad platform, the date of the event), and we will attempt to route your request.

4. What gets deleted, what is retained

Deletion removes personal data from active systems. Some categories of data are retained beyond a deletion request, as permitted or required by law:

  • Billing and tax records: retained for seven (7) years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • Audit logs: retained for the life of the account (immutable) to support security investigations, dispute resolution, and "show your work" auditability.
  • Encrypted backups: deletion is reflected in backups within thirty-five (35) days as backups rotate.
  • Aggregated and de-identified data: retained indefinitely as described in our Terms of Service. This data does not identify you.
  • Data we are legally required to retain: in response to a lawful preservation request, court order, or other legal obligation.

5. Response time

  • We acknowledge deletion requests within ten (10) business days.
  • We complete verified requests within thirty (30) days for U.S. residents.
  • We complete verified requests within forty-five (45) days for EU/UK/EEA/Swiss residents (extendable by up to sixty (60) more days where reasonably necessary, with notice).
