This Cookie Policy describes how Choclement LLC, doing business as BHmetrics ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies (collectively, "Cookies") in connection with the BHmetrics marketing site, web application, APIs, and embeddable first-party pixel (collectively, the "Service"), available at bhmetrics.comand related subdomains.
This Cookie Policy is part of, and is incorporated by reference into, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in those documents.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They are commonly used to make websites work, to remember preferences, and to provide analytics. Similar technologies — including HTML5 local storage, sessionStorage, and the fetch/XMLHttpRequest network layer — can store data on, or read data from, your device for similar purposes. Throughout this Cookie Policy we refer to all of these as "Cookies".
Cookies set by the domain you are visiting are called "first-party"; Cookies set by another domain are called "third-party". Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
BHmetrics is a B2B SaaS for advertising operators. We use Cookies for a deliberately narrow set of purposes:
We do not use Cookies for cross-site advertising, retargeting, behavioral profiling, fingerprinting, or sharing personal information with advertising networks. We do not deploy Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads tag, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other third-party advertising tracker on our app pages or marketing site.
Required for the Service to function. You cannot disable strictly necessary Cookies without breaking the Service.
| Name | Purpose | Party / set by | Duration |

On our marketing site only, we operate basic first-party aggregate page-view counters. We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Heap, FullStory, LogRocket, or Hotjar for marketing-site analytics. We do not run analytics on authenticated app pages beyond product telemetry necessary to operate the Service.
| Name | Purpose | Party | Duration |

None. We do not set, allow, or facilitate any advertising or retargeting Cookies on our marketing site or app pages.
Our customers install our pixel on their own websites (typically a Shopify or equivalent storefront) to capture conversion events and click identifiers, hash them, and forward them to BHmetrics for dispatch to advertising platforms. When you install or use this pixel on your storefront, the pixel sets Cookies and storage on your domain (not on bhmetrics.com):
_cdt_sid (cookie, 1-year max-age, SameSite=Lax, path=/) — session identifier used to join click events to subsequent conversions._cdt_sid (localStorage) — persistent backup of the session identifier._cdt_clicks (sessionStorage) — click identifiers captured during the current page session (fbclid, gclid, ttclid, epik, scclid). The pixel never reads or stores plaintext email, phone, or IP; identifiers your storefront passes to the pixel are SHA-256 hashed in the browser before transmission. As the operator of the storefront, you are the controller for these Cookies, and you are responsible for making the appropriate disclosures and obtaining the legal bases or consents required by applicable law (ePrivacy, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.) on your storefront's cookie banner and privacy notice.
Certain integrations bring you into a third party's domain (for example, completing a Stripe-hosted checkout, or signing in via Google or Microsoft SSO). On those third-party pages, the third party's own Cookies and privacy policy apply, not this Cookie Policy. The third parties most likely to be involved are:
On your first visit to the marketing site, we present a banner letting you choose between "Accept all" and "Essential only". Your preference is recorded in conduit_cookie_consent in your browser's localStorage. Today, the Service does not deploy any non-essential or third-party Cookies on the marketing site or in the app, so the "Essential only" choice has no behavioral effect at present. The banner exists so that if we ever introduce optional Cookies, your prior choice is recorded and will be honored at that time. Strictly necessary Cookies (authentication, CSRF protection, security challenges) are always set regardless of your choice, because without them the Service cannot function.
Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block Cookies. The right place to control Cookies depends on your browser; see your browser's documentation. Blocking strictly necessary Cookies will prevent the Service from functioning. Browser controls are device- and browser-specific, so you may need to repeat the choice on each device.
We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and the Service does not deploy non-essential or advertising trackers, so a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT) signal currently has nothing for us to suppress. If we introduce optional tracking in the future, we will treat GPC and DNT as valid opt-out signals at that time and document the change here.
If you operate a storefront with the BHmetrics first-party pixel installed, you can enable or disable conversion-event categories from Settings → Pixel and via the configuration on the pixel itself. End-consumer consent on your storefront is your responsibility; BHmetrics does not present a banner to your end consumers.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Cookie Policy was last revised. For material changes that expand the categories of Cookies we use, we will provide additional notice in-product or by email.
