Slack integration

Get rule-fired and anomaly notifications in your team channel. ~3 minutes.

1. Create an Incoming Webhook

1. Go to api.slack.com/apps and create a new app (From scratch).
2. Pick your workspace.
3. Sidebar → Incoming Webhooks → toggle Activate.
4. Click Add New Webhook to Workspace, pick the channel.
5. Copy the URL — it looks like https://hooks.slack.com/services/T…/B…/….

2. Paste into BHmetrics

Settings → Brand → Slack incoming webhook URL → paste, save. That's it.

3. What you'll get

• Rule fired: action kind, target ad-set, before/after, link back to the rule.
• Rule blocked by guardrail: which guardrail tripped, what would have happened.
• Critical anomaly: detector summary + link to the anomaly detail page.
• Spend cap exceeded: 80% / 100% of cap with a graph link.

4. Reduce noise

BHmetrics batches notifications: at most one per rule per 10 minutes, anomalies aggregate into a single message every 30 minutes during business hours. The cron runs hourly so most days you'll see 1–3 messages.
